- Toronto, Ontario – May 15, 2013 – StorageMart, a full-service self storage company with more than 130 locations across the United States and Canada, is pleased to announcement a partnership with the Canadian-based non-profit organization Skate to Great.
Skate to Great collects donated new and gently used ice skates and distributes them to deserving children and at-risk youth across North America. StorageMart is joining Skate to Great in these efforts by making every StorageMart location in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia and official Skate to Great donation location.
StorageMart is entering into this partnership by holding a summer-long donation drive, with a goal of collecting at least 1,000 pair of donated skates. The donation drive officially kicks off June 1, 2013 with kickoff parties at two StorageMart self storage locations in Toronto. These stores are located at 120 Wicksteed Avenue and 875 Don Mills Road.
The Skate Collection Day begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. Food and ice cream trucks will be on hand and a variety of activities will be available for the entire family.
