If you’re like most folks, you like barbecue and you also like good music.
The two come together in a spectacular fashion Sept. 28-30 in Columbia, Missouri, with the annual Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. You’ll find more than 30 artists representing the genres of roots, blues, gospel, country, folk, bluegrass, rock, and soul. You’ll also find barbecue from the best local and regional vendors.
Roots N Blues Beginnings
First launched in 2007, the festival boasts three days of music, plus a half marathon, 5K, 10K, and even a Sunday Gospel Celebration.
The best part? It’s all for a good cause. The Roots N Blues N BBQ Foundation has brought joy and music education to thousands of children through the Blues in the Schools program. Students have the opportunity to write and perform with award-winning guest musicians in their classrooms.
