At StorageMart, we take pride in our ability to not only provide the best and newest products and technologies in self storage, but the best customer service as well. We’re never fully satisfied with the level of service provided. We’re always looking for ways to get better. That policy helped StorageMart earn recognition from the Better Business Bureau for our customer service. The surest way for us to improve is by assessing feedback from our customers. Recently we found a way to combine this dedication to service with our passion for helping our great non-profit partners.
Feedback Strengthens our Company
A few months ago we kicked off a program to solicit more customer feedback. We love hearing from our customers. Our executives actually read literally every single customer review that comes in. To encourage more feedback, we pledged to make a donation for every new review received to Skate to Great. Skate to Great is one of our great non-profit partners in Canada, dedicated to bringing the joy of skating to children who might otherwise not be able to afford the necessary equipment.
The results have been better than we could have ever hoped. We just added up the numbers from the first quarter of 2015, and the results were almost overwhelming. More than 80 reviews came in, resulting in a donation of $4,050 to Skate to Great.
To say we’re excited is an understatement. We’ve been involved with Skate to Great since its inception in 2012. Our stores throughout Canada operate as drop-off points for donated skates and equipment. To be able to combine our passion for Skate to Great and its mission with our dedication to providing the best possible service to our customers is a dream come true.
What makes this fundraising drive even more special is how we were able to involve our customers. We’ve been working closely with great non-profit partners throughout the United States and Canada for years, but this is the first time our support has so directly involved our customers. The program was so successful; we’ve made the decision to continue with into the foreseeable future.
So take this as both a gleeful report of the donation being made to Skate to Great and a big, big thank you to all our customers who provided the feedback to help make the donation possible. Not only did you provide us with a tool to make our company better, but you helped a great organization continue in its mission.
